The works below were painted for an exhibition entitled Coastal. The imagery was inspired by all things relating to the water, beaches and coastlines. Painted in oil on small stretched canvases, each 10 cm x 10 cm, the paintings are the size of a miniature but cannot be classified as such because the subject matter is not miniaturised, in many cases it is much larger than life size. The images can be viewed from any direction, there is no right way up, and can be stacked as well as hung on a wall. Click on any image to see larger.
